Craigy-T is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist, songwriter, and record producer known for his dynamic contributions to the genre. Rising to international fame as a member of the legendary quartet T.O.K., he helped shape the sound of dancehall throughout the 2000s, with the group earning five spots on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming one of Jamaica’s premier musical acts.

T.O.K.'s breakout hit, “Eagles Cry”, produced by the legendary Dave Kelly, dominated the Jamaican charts in 1999, setting the stage for a string of anthems like “Guardian Angel,” “Footprints,” and “Gal You A Lead.” Their success propelled them to global stages, with sold-out tours across Europe, the Caribbean, Africa, the U.S., and Japan—where they achieved platinum and gold-certified album sales.

In 2016, after nearly two decades together, T.O.K. members decided to pursue solo careers. Craigy-T seized the opportunity to launch his own imprint, GafJam Records, and embarked on a successful solo journey. His singles, including “No Space,” “Number 1 Girl,” “Slow and Sexy,” and “Pull It Up,” received airplay on major stations like Hot 97, Power 105, BBC 1Xtra, and 99 JAMZ.

While preparing for his debut solo album, the pandemic led to a shift in focus. During this time, Craigy-T dedicated himself to the music industry in a different capacity, serving as a board director and chairman of the Benevolence Committee at The Jamaica Music Society (JAMMS) and a member of the Recording Academy (GRAMMYs) Membership Committee—roles he still holds today.

In December 2021, T.O.K. reunited for a special performance on the Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise, reigniting their bond and rebranding as Tribe of Kings. The group has since been on a three-year global tour and released fresh hits, including “Much More,” “Sexy Time,” “NPLH,” and “Machine.”

Craigy-T’s return to solo music arrived on June 28, 2024, with the high-energy single “Ay Ay Ay”—a collaboration with Polish producer DJ Frodo. This track was the first release from their joint project, UNLOAD, which dropped on November 29, 2024, and featured standout songs like “Onion,” “No Echo,” and “Man a Baller.”

As both a solo artist and a key member of Tribe of Kings (T.O.K.), Craigy-T remains committed to writing, producing, performing, and releasing music through GafJam Records and other major platforms—continuing to leave his mark on the reggae and dancehall landscape.
